AFCAT Result 2020

Indian Air Force has recently released AFCAT -2020 exam result on the website for the Flying Branch & Ground Duty, which includes both the Technical and Non-Technical Divisions. As a refresher, the exam was held from the 3rd to the 5th day of the past month. The applicants can now visit their website to check their results for the exam. Furthermore, to the complaints about the errors regarding the AFCAT-2 results for the year 2020, the Indian Air Force (IAF) has elucidated its firmness over AFCAT -2-result for the year 2020 uproar. The candidates alleged that there were severe or gross miscalculations. The officials paid heed to all the concerns raised by applicants regarding the error in AFCAT -2 result. Indian Air Force has clearly stated that the results have been thoroughly re-checked, and no discrepancy has been observed.
Finally, the AFCAT -2 2020 result is now declared online. All the applicants can access the result uploaded on the official website by logging in using their registered email ID, password, and captcha code.

The process to check AFCAT result is explained below:
1. Visit the official website, using the link -afcat.cdac.in
2. Select the AFCAT result link that is available on the home page
3. In the specific boxes, enter the email ID, password, and the captcha code being displayed
4. The result will be displayed on your screen and you can download it
5. Also, take a print out of the result card for further reference.

#3. How are the scores calculated for the AFCAT exam 2020 result?

The marking scheme of AFCAT is as follows –
1. No mark is awarded for an un-attempted question
2. One mark is deducted for every wrong attempt
3. Three marks are awarded for each correct response
4. The score of applicants are calculated based on the number of correct attempts after including the penalty for incorrect answers

#4. What happens after the declaration of the AFCAT exam 2020 result?

For AFCAT, IAF plans a list of applicants who gets the minimum qualifying marks in the AFCAT exam. The further rounds for the qualified candidates will be conducted on one of the Air Force Selection Boards (AFSB). The list of the AFSB is as follows –
• One AFSB at Dehradun,
• Two AFSB at Mysore,
• Three AFSB at Gandhinagar,
• Four AFSB at Varanasi
In addition, note that applicants can apply for the AFSB at Dehradun, Mysore, and Varanasi only if they have applied for the flying branch. The qualified candidate should download the AFSB Call letter for the future and mindfully choose the AFSB date and site.
As per the AFCAT selection procedure, the AFSB Interview is held in three stages. The first level of the AFCAT process is- Officer Intelligence Rating Test with Picture Perception and a discussion test. The second stage will be a Psychological test. The third stage will be the Computerised Pilot Selection System (CPSS) that is conducted only for the candidates who opted for the Flying branch.

• Click on the “Notification for the AFCAT 2020 Qualified Students”
• Read the Information prospectus and follow the defined steps
• Login into the website using the email id and password.
• Register for the Testing and select the Air Force Selection Board location feasible to reach you as per the selected date.
Fill in all the details such as:
• Name of the applicant
• Roll Number of AFCAT exam 2020
• Registration Number
• Passport photo and Signature
• Click enter to submit the form.
