Attention ICAI CA students! Good News For You!

ICAI UGC has given CA students a moment of celebration with a piece of good news!
Good news for those studying Chartered Accountancy. Your degree will now be equivalent to post-graduation. The UGC has recognized this.

The UGC has given good news for those studying Chartered Accountant. Now your CA degree will be equivalent to Post Graduation (PG). And as mentioned before, the University Grants Commission has recognized this.

The decision has been taken by the UGC on the appeal of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). The institute says that this will not only help CA candidates in higher studies but will also make it easier to reach globally.

ICAI CCM Dheeraj Khandelwal tweeted that UGC has recognized CA, CS, and ICWA qualifications as PG degrees. This is a big achievement for our profession.

ICAI is a statutory body established under the Act of Parliament – The Chartered Accountants Act 1949. Currently, more than 3 lakh members are associated with this institution. After passing 12th, a student can take admission in the CA Foundation course through ICAI Entrance Examination.

So, now your preparation must be empowered with the joy of celebration and a sense of accomplishment.

Practicing your practical problems & preparing notes of the theoretical part at the same time will help you to cover up the major portion of your entire syllabus.

The 1st & the 2nd month:- one should devote more time in preparation of notes for the theoretical portion of the syllabus and in addition to that few hours for the practical subjects namely FR, SFM, Costing.

 The 3rd & 4th month:-  switch your study schedule by devoting more time to the practical subjects and only the revision of the notes so prepared during the last 2 months for the theoretical subjects.

The 5th month:-  for the last month’s preparation, the focus should be completely on the revision of the notes, solving the mock test papers and the RTPs, going through the case studies and the guidance notes issued by the Institute.
