Q.1 How NLCEE is different from the other entrance exams?
The students/alumni of different IITs, IIMs, NITs, and other reputed colleges of India, conduct A.1 NLCEE. The NLCEE entrance test is the only admissions test that is accepted by thousands of schools and coaching classes — including most top schools and coaching institutes.
Q.2 What are the benefits of appearing in the NLCEE?

Q.4 When and how do I register for NLCEE 2020?
Online registration for NLCEE 2020 is already going on. For offline registration, you need to contact your school/college principal.
Q.5 When will NLCEE 2020 be held?
The NLCEE exam will be conducted in the month of Nov 2020.
Q.6 Is there any age restriction for taking the NLCEE exam?
No, there is no age restriction for taking the NLCEE exam.
Q.7 Which institutes accept NLCEE scores?
More than 2500 schools and coaching classes accept the NLCEE scores.
Q.8 How much does the NLCEE registration cost?
If you are applying offline through your school/college, then you do not need to pay any examination fees.
For online registration, the fee is ₹ 100 for the male candidates and ₹ 50 for female and transgender candidates. Fee once paid cannot be refunded under any circumstances.
Q.9 How can I pay the NLCEE exam fee if I’m applying online?
For online payment, you need to log into the NLCEE website using your registration ID and password. There is a link to the payment gateway from the application portal. The candidate can opt for any of the payment options (credit card, debit card, net banking, etc.) listed over there. The additional charges such as service charges, processing fees, or bank charges, have to be borne by the candidate.
Q.10 When will I get my Admit Card?
The Admit Card will be available for view and print from Oct 15th, 2020, 5:00 PM onwards. The Admit card will appear only if your online application form is submitted successfully. You will receive an SMS confirmation upon successful submission. You can then log into the NLCEE website using your registration ID and view/print the Admit card.
Admit Cards will NOT be sent by post. If you have applied through your school/college, they can collect the admit card from your school/college office.
Q.11 Is the Admit card alone sufficient to gain entry to the examination center?
Candidates must bring a print-out of the downloaded Admit Card to the Examination for verification along with the original and valid photo Identity Document (NO photocopy/scanned copy/NOT an expired document), which was specified during the filling up of the online application. For Indian candidates, only the following identification cards will be accepted: Passport, PAN card, Voter ID, Aadhaar-UID, College ID, Employee ID, and Driving License.
For International candidates, ONLY a valid Passport/Government issued ID/College ID/Employee ID will be accepted as the recognized identification. The Admit Card is valid if and ONLY if the candidate’s photograph and signature images are clear and legible. The photograph on the Admit Card and that in the valid photo identity document should match with the appearance of the candidate on the day of examination.
Q.12 Can I bring a soft copy of the Admit Card (in mobile phone/tablet/laptop) to gain entry to the examination center?
Hard copy (printed in color) of the Admit Card must be brought to the examination center along with at least one original (not photocopied/scanned copy) and valid (not expired) Identity Document (ID), which was specified during the filling up of the online application.
Q.13 Will the NLCEE Admit Card be sent as a hard copy or by mail?
The Admit card is available on the NLCEE website only who have applied online. You must log in using your NLCEE 2020 registration ID to view/print the Admit card. If you have applied through your school/college, they can collect the admit card from your school office.
Q.14 Do I need to carry the Admit card to the exam center?
Yes, the Admit Card is a mandatory document required to take the exam. You must print the Admit Card and bring it to the exam center on the day of the exam after fixing your passport size photograph on its hard copy.
Q.15 In case of mistakes in the registration process for NLCEE 2020, how do I rectify them?
You cannot edit certain personal details like Name, mobile number, school name, roll number, etc., at any stage in the application process (either before or after submitting the application). If you have made any other mistake(s) except these details, contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
