Earlier than today, the aspirants were ready and geared up to appear in the CA exams commencing from 2 November 2020. However, the sunrise brought the news of the postponement of the CA exams. This can be a plus point for many, but some are disappointed with the exam dates’ on and off rescheduling. Do not worry, we completely understand that.

You all must have been aware in the wake of the upcoming Legislative Assembly Elections, the ICAI CA 2020 exams for aspirants in Bihar was rescheduled. The exams’ dates were scheduled from 2, 3, 6, and 7 November 2020 to 19, 21, 23, and 25 November 2020, respectively.

Notably, for not only the aspirants from Bihar but throughout India, the final, inter, and foundation course exams have been rescheduled considering the Coronavirus pandemic and its aftermath.

At the outset, the ICAI CA 2020 examinations will now commence from 21 November onwards. We advise the aspirants to regularly visit and check the official website of ICAI at icai.org for the updated or revised schedule.

ICAI CA November Exams 2020: Revised Exam Schedule 

Foundation Course Examination –

Under New scheme: 

December 8, 10, 12, and 14, 2020
Intermediate (IPC) Course Examination- Old Scheme
– Group I November 22, 24, 26, and 28, 2020
– Group II

 

December 1, 3, and 5, 2020
Intermediate Course Examination –

Under the New Scheme:         

– Group I November 22, 24, 26, and 28, 2020
– Group II December 1, 3, 5, and 7, 2020
Final Course Examination

(Old & New):        

– Group I November 21, 23, 25 and & 27, 2020
– Group II December 1, 3, 5, and 7, 2020

Clearly, CA foundation exam date 2020, CA Intermediate and final course exams for Chartered Accountancy held by the ICAI or the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India would now commence from 21 November 2020. Applicants can visit the official website of ICAI at icai.org for the revised schedule.

As per the revised schedule, the CA foundation course exam would commence on 8 December and end by 14 December 2020, while the CA final course exam would start on 21 November and end on 6 December 2020. Likewise, according to the new date, the CA intermediate exam would begin on 22 November, and on 7 December 2020, the last exam will be taken.

The exam will be held in a single-shift for each day in the noon slot from 2 PM-5 PM. However, the foundation exam will be held from 2 PM to 4 PM. As per previous data, CA exams would be held in 207 cities in India and internationally, it will be conducted in five cities.

The ICAI has also officially released the guidelines for students or applicants having symptoms of Coronavirus. It said that candidates with symptoms could “opt-out” on a self-declaration basis, and this option will be accessible throughout the conduct of entire ICAI CA November 2020 Exams.

While we are sure that you are mindful of the things that should be practiced and followed for the examination because these are unusual pandemic times. It is crucial to be extra cautious about health and take due precautions. The scheme applies to applicants’ centers and residences, which falls in the containment zone during the stipulated exam time.
