JEE Mains examinations started across the country on Tuesday. JEE Main examinations will be held till Thursday. This is the season 2 exam being conducted in the March session. Earlier, the season 1 exam has been taken in February. About 6,19,638 candidates have registered themselves for this session. These examinations continued on Thursday as well. The National Testing Agency is conducting JEE Mains four times due to corona infection this year. In this, candidates can appear in all four examinations. Their best numbers will be considered for JEE Advanced.
The National Testing Agency conducted this entrance examination at various centers in the morning and evening shifts. This examination is being conducted in 334 cities. This test is also being taken in 12 cities abroad. These include Bahrain, Colombo, Doha, Dubai, Kathmandu, Kuala Lumpur, Lagos, Muscat, Riyadh, Singapore, and Kuwait.
The National Testing Agency said that on the second day of the JEE Main Examination. BE and B.Tech exams have been taken. The National Testing Agency is conducting the JEE Main Paper 1 exam at 792 exam centers. Students are getting admission in centers with Kovid protocol. Their hands were sanitized at the centers while wearing masks is mandatory. Earlier, JEE Main Examination was conducted by NTA from 24 to 26 February 2021. A total of 6.52 lakh candidates were registered for Paper 1 (BE and B.Tech) in this examination.
Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank said, “The results of JEE (Main) February session 2021 are out. Till last year, the exam used to be in only 3 languages, but this time the exam was conducted in 13 languages and the results were declared in 10 days. ” This time around 20 thousand candidates have registered for JEE Main examination in their regional language including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Gujarati, Marathi, Punjabi, Urdu, Malayalam, Kannada, Bengali, Odia, and Assamese.
