  • Using any electronic devices during the exam is prohibited. The students have to do all the calculations manually.
  • NEET-UG is conducted in a pen and paper mode, so it is an offline exam.
  • NEET-UG is conducted for over 11 different Indian languages. The prescribed languages in which students can take up the test are English, Hindi, Urdu, Bengali, Oriya, Tamil, Kannada, Telugu, Marathi, Gujarati, and Assamese.
  • For every correct answer, a student gets 4 marks while 1 mark is deducted for each wrong answer.
  • The cap on the number of attempts for the NEET UG exam has been removed by the authorities. Although now the age limit decides this factor i.e. if a student’s age is between 17-23 years he is eligible for the NEET-UG exam.
  • The qualifying score for NEET-UG is divided into two categories i.e. qualifying percentile and qualifying marks. The qualifying percentile for the unreserved category is 50 percentile while the qualifying marks were 701-134 for 2019.
