Q.1) How NLCEE is different from the other entrance exams?

The students/alumni of different IITs, IIMs, NITs, and other reputed colleges of India conduct NLCEE, an entrance test, rather the only admissions test that is accepted by thousands of schools and coaching classes — including most top schools and coaching institutes.

Q.2) What are the benefits of appearing in the NLCEE?

Following are the benefits of appearing in the NLCEE:

3. Helps set up the stage for you to be confident in a pressure situation.

Q.3) What are the benefits for schools/colleges?

Q.4) When and how do I register for NLCEE 2021?

Online registration for NLCEE 2021 is already going on. There is no offline registration. If you have a problem with online registration then you can contact your school/college principal.

Q.5) When will NLCEE 2021 be held?

The NLCEE exam will be conducted from January 21 to January 25, 2020.

Q.6) what is the exam mode?

It is being conducted in online mode only. You can give the exam on mobile/laptop/tab/desktop.

Q.7) Is there any age restriction for taking the NLCEE exam?

No, there is no age restriction for taking the NLCEE exam.

Q.8) Which institutes accept NLCEE scores?

More than 2700 coaching Institutes/ classes accept the NLCEE scores.

Q.9) How much does the NLCEE registration cost?

If you are applying through your school/college, then you do not need to pay any examination fees. For online registration, the fee is ₹ 100 for the male candidates and ₹ 50 for female and transgender candidates. Fee once paid cannot be refunded under any circumstances.

Q.10) How can I pay the NLCEE exam fee if I’m applying online?

For online payment, you need to log into the NLCEE website using your registration ID and password. There is a link to the payment gateway from the application portal. The candidate can opt for any of the payment options (credit card, debit card, net banking, etc.) listed over there. The additional charges such as service charges, processing fees, or bank charges, have to be borne by the candidate.

Q.11) When will I get my Admit Card?

The exam is purely online you don’t need the Admit Card.

Q.12) Will the NLCEE Admit Card be sent as a hard copy or by mail?

The Admit card is available on the NLCEE website for only those who have applied online. You must log in using your NLCEE 2020 registration ID to view/print the Admit card.

Q.13) In case of mistakes in the registration process for NLCEE 2020, how do I rectify them?

You cannot edit certain personal details like Name, mobile number, school name, roll number, etc., at any stage in the application process (either before or after applying). If you have made any other mistake(s) except these details, contact us at support@nlcee.org.

Q.14) If I do not get my Admit Card, whom should I contact?

The Admit Card details will be available on the NLCEE 2020 website, log in using your registration ID and Password. If you are unable to view your Admit Card after logging in, contact us at support@nlcee.org.

Q.15) Do I have to send the print-out of the application form?

The print-out of the application form is not required to be sent to the NLCEE office.

Q.16) After completing the ONLINE application process and paying the exam fee, will I be able to change my application data?

After completing all the steps up to fee payment in the ONLINE application process, you can only download the application form and CANNOT modify the data. Hence, you need to be very careful while entering the data.

Q.17) What is the exam fee refund policy?

Fee once paid cannot be refunded under any circumstances.

Q.18) How can I find a test center?

We will send you an SMS with the Google map link of your examination center one week before the exam date. You can give your exam from your home.

Q.19) If I can’t register online, can I register offline?

No. There is no offline registration.

Q.20) What is the best way to prepare for the NLCEE exam?

There is no need for prerequisite preparation as it is not designed to test one’s technical skills in math or science, but it’s meant to test one’s aptitude, his/her creativity in problem-solving, and thinking outside the box.

Q.21) How many sections will there be in NLCEE 2020?

NLCEE 2020 will have two sections:

Section – 1. Quantitative Reasoning Section: Basic High School Mathematics (we may add physics, chemistry, and bio also);

Section – 2. Analytical Reasoning Section: Common Sense, Logic, Puzzles, Direction Sense, Family Tree, etc.

Q.22) What is the duration of the NLCEE 2021exam?

The exam duration is 1 hour.

Q.23) What is the exam slot for each day?

The slots are –

11:30 am-12:30 pm

3:30 pm-4:30 pm

5:00 pm-6:00 pm

Q.24) Does NLCEE 2020 have a syllabus for exam preparation?

No, the NLCEE exam does not have a defined syllabus for exam preparation.

Q.25) What is the marking/grading scheme for NLCEE? Is there negative marking for a wrong answer?

Each correct answer is awarded 4 marks. An incorrect answer fetches -1. No marks are given or deducted for any non-attempted questions.

Q.26) When will NLCEE 2021 result be declared?

NLCEE 2021 exam result will be declared in the second week of Feb 2021(tentative).

Q.27) Who is eligible to take the NLCEE 2021 exam?

Anyone who is studying in class 9, 10, 11, 12 OR 12th Pass and Graduation Students who are preparing for the competitive exams can also appear in the exam.
