Waiting for clarity on the exam schedule

The CBSE board and testing agency is ready for the 2021 examinations. In such a situation, many students have many types of questions. The biggest question is about the date of these exams. Most of the students are in confusion regarding the date of the CBSE board examinations. Students want to know whether the examinations will be held in April or as usual in February.

Along with this, there are many other questions in the mind of students regarding the date of competitive exams like JEE, NEET. Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank will answer several questions on December 10 through a webinar to answer similar questions from students. Let us tell you that the board exam schedule has not been released by CBSE yet. If Board Secretary Anurag Tripathi believes that the examination will be taken on time, but the schedule has not been released. The schedule was released in the second week of December 2019.


Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal’ Nishank’ directed the National Testing Agency to design a fresh syllabus for the engineering entrance test JEE MAIN, medicine entrance exam NEET 2021, and other competitive exams. Based on the situation’s assessment, the new syllabus will be finalized in compliance with the central and state board.

Owing to the COVID-19 pandemic, the CBSE had already reduced the class 10 and 12 syllabi by 30%; henceforth, NTA will also make necessary changes as per the existing scenario.

Nonetheless, the scenario is similar for other competitive exams like GATE, UPSC exams, banking sector exams, and other competitive examinations.

The uncertainties persist for the aspirants if the JEE Main 2021 is being held in February and not. The coronavirus outbreak has caused significant uncertainties to predict any exam schedule; in addition, an official notification regarding the rescheduling of JEE Main 2021 will be rolled out soon
